    IndyCar Series at Milwaukee for Race 1 recap: Pato O'Ward picks up third win of season

    IndyCar returned to Wisconsin for Race 1 of the Hy-Vee Milwaukee Mile 250 doubleheader on Saturday.

    Pato O'Ward won the race after starting in sixth. Will Power was second and Conor Daly took third. It was Daly's first podium since 2016.

    Pato O'Ward won his third race of the season (a career-high for O'Ward and McLaren). Will Power finished second and Conor Daly was third.

    Colton Herta was coming out of pit lane when a tire came loose. Pato O'Ward remains in the lead.

    Yellow flag is out after Marcus Ericsson and Josef Newgarden collided in Turn 2.

    Pato O'Ward is in first, Alex Palou is in second and Will Power is in third.

    The race's first yellow flag is out after Katherine Legge spun around.
