Boo Buckets and other Halloween pails coming to restaurants in October. Where to find them

McDonald’s Boo Buckets are coming. And Tim Horton’s Halloween-themed buckets have already arrived.

Fast-food and coffee shops are making sure customers have pails in which to tote their Halloween stash.

Tim Hortons Timbits Trick-or-Treat Buckets

First introduced in 2022, the buckets come in two new glow-in-the-dark designs. They’re filled with 31 Timbits of the customer’s choice

The buckets became available on Oct 2.

The buckets cost $10.99 with the Timbits. $6 refills of 31 Timbits are available through Oct. 31.

McDonald’s Boo Buckets

The plastic customizable buckets replace the Happy Meal box for a limited time.

The white, orange and green buckets will return; but this year, blue buckets will replace purple buckets from last year.

And instead of Boo Buckets also resembled classic monsters including Monster, Skeleton, Mummy and Vampire, this year’s models. This year's models come with stickers so kids can customize the look.

This is the third consecutive season for the seasonal offering after it returned in 2022 for the first time since 2016. Before that, the decorated plastic buckets had been offered sporadically since 1986.

When are the 2024 McDonald’s Boo Buckets available?

McDonald’s will begin selling the Boo Buckets on Oct. 15.

Dunkin' Halloween Munchkins Bucket

The purple bucket, illustrated with a sweet  Halloween motif, can be filled with a 50-count assortment of Munchkins Donut Hole Treats, including new Halloween sprinkle-covered Munchkins.

When will the Dunkin' Halloween Munchkins Buckets be sold?

The Dunkin' Halloween Munchkins Bucket will be available starting Oct. 16.

The company has not announced the price of the bucket.
