McDonald's Chicken Big Mac hits shops early. Where to find the sandwich before its launch

McDonald’s customers in Indiana are scoring the new Chicken Big Mac before its U.S. launch.

The sandwich is slated to make its U.S. debut on Oc. 10; but some restaurants in Indianapolis began offering it last week.

The Big Mac chicken variation is around for a limited time, after being tested in Miami and international markets.

Those wanting a jump on the offering will have to order it at the counter or drive-through for the next few days, as the Chicken Big Mac is not yet listed on the McDonald’s app.

A look at the burger served at a downtown Indianapolis McDonald’s revealed two tempura chicken patties – think two large McNuggets – instead of beef patties, a couple of dollops of Big Mac sauce and other standard Big Mac toppings.

What is the McDonald’s Chicken Big Mac?

Instead of two all-beef patties, the sandwich features a pair of tempura battered chicken patties. But most of the other ingredients are the same: special sauce, lettuce, cheese and sliced pickles on a sesame seed bun.
