INDIANAPOLIS — For the second consecutive week, the Colts are leaving the status of starting quarterback Anthony Richardson in the air heading into the weekend.

Richardson missed last week's game against the Jaguars, but he has been hoping to return this week against the Titans from the oblique/hip injury he suffered in the second quarter against the Steelers.

"AR, he'll be questionable for the game, a game-time decision," Steichen said. "But he did practice this week, and he looked good."

Richardson was initially listed as questionable last Friday, downgraded to doubtful on Saturday, then went through an extensive throwing session in the rain in Jacksonville before being officially ruled out when the Colts released their list of inactives 90 minutes before the kickoff.

But this week has been different.

Richardson was listed as a full participant in practice on Thursday this week; he was limited in practice.

"He's made strides this week, for sure," Steichen said.

The ultimate decision will come down to how Richardson is feeling.

"We always rely on the doctors, the trainers and how he's feeling, for sure," Steichen said.

For what it's worth, Richardson has been optimistic this week about his return.

"I can run, I can throw, I can do the stuff that they want me to do in the offense," Richardson said.
