INDIANAPOLIS -- Pacers All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton , All-Star power forward Pascal Siakam , starting small forward Aaron Nesmith and veteran backup point guard T.J. McConnell will all sit out Monday night's preseason game against the Grizzlies, the Pacers announced on their social media accounts before pre-game.

Rookie wing Johnny Furphy will also miss his third preseason game with an ankle injury.

Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said Haliburton, Siakam and McConnell are all out for rest purposes as they head toward the season. Carlisle said Nesmith is dealing with some ankle soreness.

The Pacers announced their starting five prior to pre-game press conferences. Andrew Nembhard will move from shooting guard to point guard. Shooting guard Bennedict Mathurin and forwards Jarace Walker and Obi Toppin move up from the second unit to the first unit, and Myles Turner will start at center as per usual.
