Pacers' broadcast partner will be re-branded as FanDuel Sports Network

INDIANAPOLIS -- Bally Sports networks including Pacers regional television broadcast partner Bally Sports Indiana will be re-branded as part of the FanDuel Sports Network beginning Monday thanks to a commercial partnership announced Friday between Diamond Sports Group and FanDuel, an online gaming company.

What channel will the Pacers be on?

Bally Sports Indiana will be known as FanDuel Sports Network Indiana.

What channel will FanDuel Sports Network be on my cable provider?

According to a company spokesman, the channel numbers for cable providers will remain the same.

Can I watch the Pacers on the same app?

Viewers with the Bally Sports app on mobile devices will get an automatic download of a rebranded FanDuel Sports Network app or a push notification Monday letting them know they need to download the update.

How much will the FanDuel Sports Network app cost?

The channel will not cost any more for consumers. It is currently $19.99/month or $189.99/year .

Why did Bally Sports change its name?

According to a news release, with the partnership between the two companies, FanDuel has the exclusive right to re-name all 16 of Diamond Sports Group's regional sports networks and all of its digital offerings, including its direct to consumer product. The press release also says there will be "linear and digital media placement and integration opportunities across all live NBA, NHL and MLB games on FanDuel Sports Network."

What is the Diamond Sports Group?

Diamond Sports Group was formed as a subsidiary of Sinclair Broadcast Group and used to purchase 22 Fox Sports Networks from Walt Disney Company in 2019, which was required to divest of those properties by the government for anti-trust reasons after its purchase of 21st Century FOX. Diamond declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March of 2023 and since ended regional sports agreements with many of its Major League Baseball partners and some of its NHL and NBA partners but maintained partnerships with 13 NBA teams for at least the 2024-25 season including the Pacers.
