NNY student accused of making threats to St. Lawrence County school

HEUVELTON, N.Y. (WWTI) – A student in the Heuvelton Central School District is facing multiple charges after making threatening statements towards the school.

St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies said a resource officer arrested the student after receiving complaints about threatening statements from the juvenile.

The student was charged with one count of making a threat of mass harm and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The student’s name is being withheld due to their age. The student is also slated to appear in St. Lawrence County Family Court.
