PHOTOS: Northern Lights come to Northern New York

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – The Northern Lights made for a dazzling display in the skies across the north country on Thursday night.

The solar storm causing this display is strong enough that the northern lights are visible not only along the horizon but also overhead.

Here’s a gallery of some of the best photos from the aurora borealis display.
