    A former CBA athletic trainer dies in a fatal Jefferson County crash

    CAPE VINCENT N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A retired Christian Brothers Academy athletic trainer Randy Kinn has passed away after being involved in a car accident on Thursday, October 10, the New York State Police confirmed on Saturday.

    State police say that a call went out for a single-vehicle crash at around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

    The crash happened on State Route 12 near County Route 8 in the town of Cape Vincent. Through police investigation, they found that Kinn was driving west when his car went off the road into a field and hit a tree.

    The car then caught on fire with Kinn trapped inside. he was pronounced dead at the scene.
