    Lewis County looking for missing man & dog

    LEWIS COUNTY, N.Y. (WWTI) – In a recent Facebook post Lewis County Sheriff’s Office announced they are actively searching for 39-year-old Cody M. Johnson, who was reported missing the afternoon of Sunday, October 13.

    Johnson was reported to be last seen at a residence on outer Number Four Road in the Town of Watson at about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 12. He reportedly made a phone call at about 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, which is the last known contact with him.

    Johnson’s dog is also missing, which is a white pit bull with black and white harness. Johnson is a white male, 6’2″, 195 lbs., with short brown hair, last seen wearing blue jeans and black sweatshirt with red lettering and black boots. Cody may be on foot walking in the area, which is heavily wooded. New York State Forest Rangers are assisting with the search.
