Johnson Named to Top 10 Triple Leaders in Texas
2024 Bluecat and CHS graduate Kaden Johnson was named to the Top 10 overall 3B leaders in Texas (all classifications) on the Texas High School Baseball website. Kaden had a great high school career at Coleman High School as a pitcher and shortstop for the Bluecats. Big Country Preps wrote this, "Johnson was a monster at the plate in his final high school season, posting a .458/.549/.904 slash line with 12 doubles, eight triples, three home runs, 32 RBIs, 37 runs and 20 stolen bases. And when he wasn’t hitting or playing shortstop, the first-team all-district pick was helping the Bluecats on the mound, pitching to a 5-0 record with a 4.24 ERA in 30 innings of work."
