Who lets their kids do this if it was kids? And if the ride’s brand new, how does the paint even peel off? Someone needs a new contractor.

That why you don't build them people can't respect it so don't build it. We used to have a playground in my neighborhood park but not anymore it got destroyed by kids and people and after the 4th time and millions to fix or replace it the city said no more. So don't build it and you have to worry about damage.
