A gorilla at the Columbus Zoo has officially melted our hearts with their sweet and loving reaction to meeting a newborn baby.

In April, a new mother named Hannah shared a video she captured while visiting the zoo. In it, she holds her infant, Noah, in front of a gorilla’s glass enclosure. The animal is clearly enamored and studies the tiny human.

Hannah turns the baby to face the enclosure so the gorilla can get a better look—and the gorilla responds by kissing the glass in front of Noah’s cheek, which makes everyone melt into a puddle of goo.

“Gorilla kisses for baby Noah,” she wrote in the caption.

The precious video has earned nearly 4 million views in the three months it’s been in TikTok. And recently, hundreds of people began sharing it on their own social media pages.

In the comments, people can’t get over how “human” the gorilla acted when they saw the baby.
