    We’ll admit it—we’ve laughed at our fair share of Chuck Norris jokes over the years. However, the physique of the United States Army veteran and martial arts champion is nothing to laugh at. At 84 years old, Chuck isn’t slowing down, and he shared a video of a workout on Instagram that’s quite impressive.

    The Octogenarian’s Reps Looked Effortless

    In the video, his son walked into the gym and asked his dad what he was doing and Chuck responded, “Just warming up.” The humongous weights just move up and down like nothing.

    Chuck captioned the video, “Rumor has it when I finish my workout, the weights have to take a break, haha! All kidding aside, I hope you all had a great summer and continue to have a wonderful rest of your year. God Bless, Chuck Norris.”

    Of course, fans loved Chuck’s sense of humor and poking fun at himself.

    Someone wrote, “I thought it was fake until I saw it was Chuck Norris.”

    The classic Chuck Norris jokes abounded in the comment section.

But, in fact, as a weightlifting enthusiast and experienced gym-goer, I can in fact confirm that is NOT what’s happening here. You can clearly see his biceps incredibly relaxed and his triceps flexing much more. You see, Chuck Norris is not curling 5 plates. No, Chuck Norris is using 5 plates as leverage and is instead DOING REVERSE GRIP TRICEP PUSHDOWNS TO MOVE HIS ENTIRE BODY AND THE VERY PLANET BENEATH HIM. The weight is only capable of providing enough leverage to perform this movement because Chuck Norris simply told it to stay still, and the weird now refuses to move for even the entire planet out of raw fear.”
