Too Cute: Tiny Tiana Cosplayer Dashes Over To Greet Perfect Counterpart!

Tiana might have been at odds with this character in The Princess and the Frog , but in the cosplay world, it looks like they’re the best of friends! A man dressed up as Dr. Facilier, the villain of the film, was wandering a Disney fan event when he met the most adorable princess. Recognizing his costume, a little girl wearing an elaborate gown and tiara ran right up to him. She was so excited to meet another character from the same movie!

Someone caught the sweetest photo and video of Tiana and Dr. Facilier in their excellent cosplay outfits. Their interaction was way too cute! In the clip, the grown-up tipped his hat to the little girl and crouched down to speak with her. He shared the footage on social media, where it’s been going viral.

“I was walking through D23 when all of a sudden I heard a bunch of people shouting, imagine my surprise when I turn around and see that it’s because there is the cutest Tiana cosplayer running to catch up to me!” wrote the man in his caption.

He continued, “She marched right up to me and said hi, I tipped my hat to her because that’s what you do when you are face-to-face with royalty. I complimented her dress and the smile she gave me was priceless. We had a nice chat about how her grandma made it for her and at the end we grabbed a quick picture.”

Watching these Disney characters meet is precious.

This heartwarming encounter obviously meant the world to the little girl, and the grown-up was pretty moved, too! In fact, he added in his caption that interactions with fellow fans like this young girl dressed as Princess Tiana were part of the reason cosplay was so important to him.

“This is why I love cosplay, for moments when I can make a kid’s day and be a character from their favorite movie,” he wrote.

It’s so wonderful to see adult cosplayers encouraging younger fans like this. We’re sure that Princess Tiana will never forget the magical encounter she had with Dr. Facilier!
