“Uncle Daddy” To The Rescue: Identical Twin Cheers Up Brother’s Daughter

What is better than one dad? Two! Especially if the second one looks exactly like the first one.

Jason and Josh are identical twins. The pair have been known to help one another with their daddy duties, treating each other’s children like their own. Jason has such a presence in his brother’s life that his daughter calls him “Uncle Daddy.” Well, it was Uncle Daddy to the rescue when this identical twin saved the day after his brother’s little girl missed him too much.

Identical Twin Saves The Day: “Uncle Daddy” To The Rescue

Josh and Nelly McAloon share a 2-year-old daughter named Georgia. Georgia loves her daddy very much. And sometimes, she has trouble understanding that he has to travel for work. On one such occasion, Josh had been gone for a couple of days, and Georgia started to miss him terribly.

When that happened, Nelly knew just who to call. She called Jason, and he was more than happy to oblige.

A video shows Josh pulling up the driveway, and as soon as he gets out of his truck, Georgia runs into his arms. The note over the video reads, “When your little girl is crying for Daddy, but he’s traveling for work, so you call in his identical twin to save the day and play Daddy’s role!”

After Josh successfully greets Georgia, the real fun begins. The pair can be seen playing with bubbles in the yard. Jason blows bubbles all around as Georgia happily chases them. The internet is loving Uncle Daddy as much as Georgia does.

The Best Family Bond Around

Nelly told PEOPLE , “[Josh] thinks of our kids as his own, and he’s willing to fill in and do his brother’s daddy duties.” Thank goodness for that, as viewers can see how little Georgia’s entire mood changes upon seeing her “daddy.”

While Josh’s wife claims that Georgia is great at telling her father and his twin, Jason, apart when they are together, she doesn’t seem to notice that it is her “Uncle Daddy” instead of her actual daddy this time. Nelly added, “I really think she thought it was Josh because she was fine.”

Georgia also admitted that she had to think ahead to help hide the one thing that could tell these identical brothers apart: tattoos. She stated, “Jason has tattoos on his arms, so I had him put on a long-sleeve shirt so she wouldn’t know.”

All seems to have gone fine and dandy. “Uncle Daddy” comes to the rescue once again.
