But what you might not expect from this quaint area is the brand new siren found on the Salem Massachusetts Fire Department truck, as shared in a viral video. Seriously, whatever you are currently imagining, it’s not that.

There’s still the sound you’d expect to hear from a firetruck. The difference now is that there’s a second layer of sound, one that should be familiar to many. As amazing as this hilarious (and oddly catchy) Sandstorm is for a firetruck siren, based on other videos found on this account, it does appear Salem didn’t actually make this change. Still, with how much people are loving this idea, maybe the city of Salem should consider making the change real…
