Trace commends his daughter for remaining neutral during the casting process of the show. Fox News shared a touching video of Trace Adkins giving his daughter some advice about life in Hollywood . He started the video by saying, “I am glad you learned something from me, ” to which his daughter erupted into laughter.

Trace admitted that “many things” in his career that were “connected to Hollywood never happened,” even though they seemed like sure bets. And he wanted to make sure his daughter was prepared for inevitable disappointments.

Trace told the outlet that Hollywood execs would tell him things were moving along, and then one day he would realize, “Well I haven’t heard from those people in six months.”

Mackenzie Adkins and Trace Adkins Have A Great Bond

Besides sharing some fatherly advice with his daughter, Mackenzie Adkins, Trace Adkins also gave his support. Mackenzie came in third on Claim to Fame , and Trace was quick to her on Instagram .
