Kate Middleton Steps Out For First Public Appearance Since Cancer Update

To the delight of many, Kate Middleton announced on Instagram on September 9 that she’d completed chemotherapy therapy. She wrote in the post that it had been a grueling time in her life.

“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown,” she explained .

After making her announcement, supporters hoped they’d see Kate return to a more typical routine. According to People , the Princess of Wales was spotted on September 22 at Crathie Kirk Church near Balmoral Castle in Scotland with her husband, Prince William, and other members of the royal family.

Kate Middleton Appeared Happy & Healthy

Per People , Kate smiled at the camera as she got into the car. She wore a dark green wide-brimmed hat and a brown tartan checked coat. King Charles and Queen Camilla were also photographed on their way to church.

It has been a challenging year for the royal family after both Kate and King Charles revealed they had cancer. Despite rumors that his health was ailing quickly, Camilla said he was OK.

During the opening of the Dyson Cancer Center at the Royal United Hospital in Bath, England, she said, “He is doing very well,” per the Mirror .

After announcing she was cancer-free, Kate shared her continued support with those who suffer.

“The cancer journey is complex, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you… This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved,” she wrote on Instagram.
