Not only did he impress because of his stunning vocals but also because of the surprise that he caused the judges when they turned around and saw who was belting those powerful vocals. Jaylen Dunham didn’t initially get any chairs to turn, but he walked off that stage a winner. After realizing her mistake, Gwen Stefani used The Voice Replay button to give the young man a spot on her team.

The stage is dark and Jaylen Dunham wastes no time getting right into his performance. The young man chose to sing Listen by Beyoncé. As he heads into the chorus, his voice picks up in intensity. The crowd stands and begins to applaud Jaylen for his performance.

While the crowd is loving this young singer, the judges remained hesitant to turn. As Jaylen Dunham finishes his performance, none of the judges turn. However, have no fear, The Voice Replay will make this young man’s night turn right around.

From there, she goes on to make his night even better by explaining The Voice Replay. She said, “We have this new thing on The Voice . Basically, if you are like, ‘Dang I should have pressed my button’ but I didn’t press my button…you can press your button.” As she utters the last words, she places her hand on top of her button.

Thus securing young Jaylen Dunham a spot on her team. Jaylen erupts into laughter as a smile spreads wide across his face. The crowd’s ear-shattering cheers echo across the room. Even the coaches are happy about the decision. “Wait to go Gwen!” Reba shouts over the cheers.
