Cutessssst Captain Ever Joins Boaters On Their Fishing Trip

Snakes on a plane might be a scenario out of a horror movie, but apparently a python on a boat is actually pretty cute! Pet mom Alexis Paige caught the sweetest footage from a fishing trip with her buddies — which included a serpentine friend! This snake seemed to really enjoy riding in the boat with her mom. She especially loved peering out over the edge of the vessel to look at the water!

Alexis posted a video on social media showcasing her python’s adorable behavior during the boat trip. This snake looked like a true sailor as she solemnly stared off into the distance, her neck completely straight as she held her head high.

“It’s a little captain,” joked Alexis’s friend.

“She could really use a captain’s hat right now,” the snake owner agreed.

This python was incredibly well-mannered throughout the boat trip. When she didn’t have her eyes on the horizon, she was lounging along the edge of the craft. Commenters loved seeing this precious snake enjoying the boat excursion. However, a few fellow animal lovers had their concerns.

“I would be so afraid she would fall in and swim away,” wrote one user.

Thankfully, Alexis already had a game plan in case of disaster. She shared in another video that she was fully prepared to jump into the water and save her snake if the critter fell out of the boat. There didn’t seem to be too much danger of that happening, though. Even when Alexis did allow the python to take a quick dip in the water, the animal’s lower half remained on the boat. This snake seemed fully content to lounge in the vessel with Mom and her friend!

Although many people are afraid of snakes, some really do make sweet pets ! Thanks, Alexis, for showing the world how adorable these creatures can be.
