Henry Winkler Is Fanboying Over A Video Response From Jelly Roll, “The Most Amazing Thing”

We all have our favorite celebrities who’ve positively impacted our lives. We may post on social media or send them a note to say thank you. They don’t always have time to respond to their fan mail, but it’s pretty incredible when they do. Some artist’s biggest fans are actually other celebs. They may never cross paths professionally, but their admiration remains. Henry Winkler is a huge Jelly Roll fan, and I thought he’d reach out to tell him. What Jelly Roll did next put a huge smile on Henry’s face.

Henry Didn’t Expect A Response

Henry shared the experience on Live With Kelly And Mark . He said he wrote “Mr. Roll” a note and received a video response.

The former Happy Days star explained, “I write thank you notes or fan notes, and I wrote one to Jelly Roll. Dear Mr. Roll. And I never thought I would hear back. And all of a sudden, I got a video from Kelly of Mr. Roll thanking me.”

Overcome with emotion, Henry said to Kelly, “Oh my God, thank you.”

Kelly joked that she loved being the one to share the news with Henry. “By the way, it was the most exciting thing that has ever not happened to me, you know what I mean,” Kelly said. “It was for you, it had nothing to do with me. It was for you but the fact that I was able to be the conduit was the most exciting thing.”

She then shared the video from Jelly Roll who said, “Hey Mr Winkler, it’s Jelly Roll. I’m just sending my love. I have been hoping to see you ’cause I got a note, and they said it was from you.”

He added that the letter shocked him. At first, Jelly Roll didn’t think it was real. When his publicist confirmed the authenticity, he framed it.

“I will send you a picture when I get home, I hope you don’t mind, I framed it. I hung it up on my wall where I have like hand written lyrics from Craig Morgan, all the stuff that’s really been special in my career.”

He added, “Thank you, I’m absolutely honored Mr Winkler, I can’t wait to see you and hopefully give you a hug man,” Jelly Roll said. “I’m a big hugger. I’ll squeeze you.”
