Members of the Donna Briggs Foundation held their second annual Cornhole Tournament and Auction on Saturday, July 13, at the Hudson VFW Post 5791. Briggs, of Derry, who was a retired police Sgt. with the Hudson Police Department, was tragically killed while riding her bike along Route 125 in Kingston back in 2021. Heroic rescue: Maine woman revived by first responders after crash
HARRISON, Maine — First responders rushed into action to save the life of an Auburn woman on Saturday afternoon after she crashed her car on School Street in Harrison. The crash happened right in front of the Harrison Fire Department, where police say 58-year-old Debora McGowan's silver 2020 RAV 4 collided with a rock embankment, causing severe front-end damage. When first responders arrived, they found McGowan unconscious and not breathing.
