Suspect Arrested in Southeast D.C. Shooting, Charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon
The Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed the arrest of a suspect in connection to a Southeast shooting incident that occurred in mid-April. On April 14, at approximately 2:20 p.m., police were called to the 2300 block of Marion Barry Avenue, Southeast, following reports of gunfire, on arrival, they discovered an adult male with gunshot injuries, who was subsequently taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening wounds, according to a press release by the MPD.

Logan Schuchart of Hanover won Thursday night’s Pa. Speedweek 410 sprint car feature race at Hagerstown Speedway, picking up his second victory of the series. Troy Wagaman.
