Noah Gregoire, a senior at Liberty High School, is the Press-Citizen's newest Student of the Week.

Gregoire received 54.5% of the 17,630 total votes, outlasting Iowa City Regina's Jack Ingalls, who secured 45%.

Gregoire is a top student primarily enrolled in Advanced Placement and PSEO courses at the Kirkwood Regional Center. In addition to his heavy course load, he is involved in many school activities, including show choir, cross-country, track and field, drama, and speech. He is also the president of the Liberty National Honor Society (NHS) chapter.

"(Gregoire) is one of the most kind and supportive students here at Liberty. He goes out of his way to be nice to others and make sure everyone feels a sense of belonging," said Principal Justin Colbert.

This week's poll closed Thursday, Oct. 10. A new Student of the Week poll will go live on Monday, Oct.13.
