Wind gust knocks down trusses injuring 4 at Iowa County construction site
NORWAY, Iowa (KCRG) - Four people were hurt at a construction site in Iowa County on Thursday when a wind gust blew down trusses being placed by a crane. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office said it happened at 2783 110th Street in rural Norway Thursday at approximately 10:00 am.
Iowa County sets price for land adjacent to Legion
MARENGO — The Iowa County Board of Supervisors agreed in June to offer property adjacent to the new American Legion Hall to American Legion Post 76 for $8,400. The partial lot, where the paving ends north of the Legion parking lot, is about 230 feet by 30 feet, said Supervisor Chairman Kevin Heitshusen.
