Lake Boeuf community seeks voice in decisions about maintaining lake's health
Lafourche Parish Council and community members are seeking a commission to govern the upkeep of Lake Boeuf. Camp owners urged the Lafourche Parish Council to pass a resolution Wednesday, July 10, to seek Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrell’s opinion on whether they could establish the Lake Boeuf Game and Fish Commission and how it would interact with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.

IOTA, La. (KPLC) - McNeese alum and former Saints running back hosted a sports camp in his hometown of Iota to teach the next generation the skills they need to succeed. Jordan comes from humble beginnings in the town of Iota where he played high school football and went on to play at McNeese and eventually the NFL where he suited up for the New Orleans Saints from 1986 to 1992.
