Girl, 7, hit with vehicle in attempted child abduction, suspect arrested
STERLING HEIGHTS, MI – A 7-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle in an alleged child abduction attempt at a park on Tuesday, police said. Around 2:20 p.m., Sterling Heights Police officers responded to North Clinton River Park for a reported disturbance, WXYZ Detroit reports. Before their arrival, they learned a child had been hit by a vehicle. At the scene, they learned that the driver had attempted to kidnap the child.
