Woodstock residents reconsider short-term rental regulations
WOODSTOCK, Vt. (WCAX) - Woodstock residents vote Tuesday on whether to overturn a new ordinance designed to regulate short-term rentals. The community in May approved an ordinance that requires short-term rentals and their guests to pay the costs of administering short-term rental regulations, It also removed the statute that ruled how many times a short-term rental owner could rent their property a year. But opponents of the new measure gathered the required number of signatures by petition to revote the issue.
