A Harmony man received a minimum prison sentence of approximately 18 years in a sex offense case. 32-year-old Timothy Clayton Campbell of Harmony pleaded guilty to first-degree statutory sex offense and two counts of indecent liberties with a child. He was given a sentence of 192-291 months along with a pair of 13 to 25 month terms.
Pedestrian Killed In Crash On Interstate
A pedestrian was killed in a crash on an Iredell County Highway. The deceased is 63-year-old Calvin Jay May of Greenville, N.C. Today (June 26) at approximately 1:15 a.m., the N.C. State Highway Patrol responded to Interstate 77 south near NC 150 (Exit 36). A 2023 Freightliner tractor-trailer was traveling south on I-77 and struck a pedestrian who was in the roadway. The pedestrian was wearing dark clothing and the roadway was not lighted.
