2 men taken to the hospital after shooting in New Albany, police say
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two men were shot and taken to the hospital in New Albany on Monday evening, according to police. According to New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey, police responded to a shooting at 1829 Culbertson Avenue around 7:05 p.m. Once police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to University of Louisville Hospital, but his condition isn't known at this time.

During the evening hours of July 15, a well-organized and long-lived complex of thunderstorms rolled across Iowa, Illinois and parts of Indiana. Widespread damaging winds of 60 to locally 100 mph were observed within the line, especially from eastern Iowa, northern Illinois, and central Illinois.
