If you're a foodie or just starting out in the kitchen, this Ninja air fryer , currently on sale , should be on your Amazon Prime Day wishlist.

The 5.5 qt. nonstick basket and crisper plate allow you to easily whip up to three pounds of chips or wings, saving you precious time.

This handy gadget boasts five versatile cooking settings: Air Fry, Air Roast, Bake, Reheat, and Dehydrate, offering a range of culinary possibilities.

Compared to traditional frying methods, this device delivers up to 75% less fat, as tested against hand-cut, deep-fried chips.

Both the basket and crisper plate are nonstick for easy cleaning, and they're dishwasher safe for added convenience.

With a temperature range of 105F to 400F, you can gently remove moisture from foods or quickly cook and crisp them using convection heat.

You can also create flat, chip-like dehydrated foods for fun homemade snacks using the low fan speed and low-temperature settings for thorough dehydration.

This powerful 1750-Watt air fryer comes with a 5.5 qt. nonstick basket, nonstick crisper plate, and a chef-inspired 20-recipe cookbook to spark your culinary creativity.

Amazon customers have left glowing reviews for the air fryer.

One pleased customer shared: "After purchasing a different brand Air Fryer in the past year, having it quit working on me, replacing it with the same air fryer, then having it quit working all in the first year, I changed and went with this Ninja AF161 Max XL Air Fryer and have been pleasantly surprised. It cooks quicker, very evenly all food, is very easy to use and cleans up extremely easy. So far, great purchase."

Another content buyer added: "I spent months reading reviews and reviewing brands and features. The Ninja AF101 is absolutely perrrrfect! ! Great capacity for feeding 2 people. Super easy to use. Love that it has the air fryer function and also reheat function. Pause button is super convenient to toss the food. Real game changer in my kitchen, my life, my marriage. Even my dog loves it. Meat is so tender and tasty with minimum spices and oil. I also appreciate the vent at the top to release any steam resulting from water released from meat or veggies. So far I have air fried steak, chicken, pork, salmon, coliflower. I also made arepas and OMG - the best I ever made. Don't read anymore. Just add it to your cart right away and checkout. I need to go... time to prep my lunch."

One delighted customer shared: "We are probably the last of our group of friends to purchase an air fryer. Now we're asking ourselves why did we wait so long. It's convenient and very easy to use with minimal cleanup. We've had it for just a few days and we really enjoy it. So far we've fried chicken twice along with sweet potato and russet potato fries, as well as red potato wedges. Any of these requires minimum oil. The inside tray allows for excess oil to drain from the food, leaving fried chicken moist and tender, and fries crunchy. Learning curve is practically non-existent. This is definitely a 5-star product."

However, not everyone was as pleased with their purchase.

A customer commented: "This product performs as advertised but for me it's too scary to use. When you open the box you are confronted with a positively seemingly toxic odor of plastic and unknown substances. I actually left it outside on our porch for two weeks until it became an only middle offensive. It still did emit some odor so I coated the cooking basket with oil and ran it through a cooking cycle. After washing I made french fries. It is critical to flip the fries more than once but they came out ok. Unfortunately I could still detect a chemical taste and threw them out. Obviously I have a super sensitivity to these issues. I suspect the chem tastes would fade with repeated use. The unit works well and is easy to clean. I thought of trying to sell it but can't sell something I suspect may be unhealthy to use. It sits in my attic."

If you're interested in getting a similar Ninja air fryer from another store, Kohls has it in stock.
