Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's secret fourth baby 'unusual' name announced

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have finally unveiled the unique name of their fourth child , 16 months after their birth. At the Deadpool and Wolverine premiere in New York, videos show that Ryan took to the stage to express his gratitude to his wife Blake, 36, and their four children.

In doing so, he named them all - including their latest addition, whose name has been kept under wraps since they welcomed them in February 2023. The 47-year-old Deadpool star disclosed that their fourth child is named Olin , a name of Nordic origin meaning ancestor's heir or to inherit.

Although typically a male name, the couple has yet to reveal the child's gender. They also have three daughters - James, nine, Inez, seven, and Betty, four.

As reported by Variety, Ryan said on stage on Monday night: "I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here. I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here. I hope that, if I'm lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing - that is, the contents of this movie - that happens in your wondrous lives", reports the Mirror .

Blake accompanied Ryan at the event, channeling her inner Deadpool in a skintight, off-the-shoulder blood-red jumpsuit adorned with roses and matching crimson stilettos. With her hair slicked back into a neat ponytail and ears decorated with large dagger drop earrings, she was the perfect match for the sharp anti-hero.

She never made an official announcement about the arrival of her fourth child after revealing her pregnancy in September 2022, flaunting her baby bump at the 10th Annual Forbes Power Women's Summit in New York City . On February 12, 2023, she posted a snap on Instagram wearing jeans and without a baby bump, subtly indicating the birth of her child with the caption: "Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023. Been busy."

Lively and Reynolds' romance began on the set of the movie Green Lantern in 2010, blossoming into a relationship the next year. The couple tied the knot in 2012 and have since welcomed their first child in 2014, followed by a second in 2016. Their third child, Betty, arrived in October 2019, with their latest addition joining the family in February 2023.
