Tom Cruise rehearsed for his Olympic Ceremony stunt earlier today to prepare for his role in the ceremony.

He wore a harness and hung from a wire during rehearsals.

Billie Eilish, Tom Cruise and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are all lined up to take centre stage at the Olympics closing ceremony tonight.

Their performances will be transmitted from Los Angeles into the Stade de France. Cruise, 62, is expected to perform a Mission Impossible-style stunt in the stadium as Paris hands over the baton to Los Angeles for the next games.

Snoop Dogg, maintaining his ever-present status at the games, is also scheduled to make an appearance. These music legends were chosen due to their connections to LA, where the games will move to in 2028, as reported by America's Variety magazine.
