Vincent Kompany lost his cool with midfielder Johann Berg Gudmundsson in a spicy scene from Burnley's behind-the-scenes documentary , chronicling their nail-biting fight against the drop last season in the Premier League .

The former Manchester City talisman, who led the Clarets in a fierce battle to dodge relegation from the Premier League .

Despite his valiant efforts, the team couldn't pull through, finishing 18th, a solid eight points adrift of Nottingham Forest who clinched safety.

Following the conclusion of the season, Kompany parted ways with Turf Moor to fill the prestigious boots of Bayern Munich's manager.

The 'Mission to Burnley' documentary promises an unfiltered look into how rigidly Kompany captained the ship in Lancashire, a voyage which saw Gudmundsson facing the wrath of one of his outbursts.

Ahead of the second installment, a heart-racing trailer features Kompany bellowing: "Joey, don't f***ing test me. Do not f***ing test me. Enough with the f***ing moaning."

The fiery exchange escalates as Kompany, finger jabbed forward, advances towards the Icelander and declares, "F***ing play! How many times do I have to tell you? Stop f***ing moaning."

With tensions hitting a boiling point and both men virtually head to head, Gudmundsson chose to step away. Nevertheless, Kompany pressed on, probing: "Have you got something you want to communicate to the team? You want to communicate something, you big boy? You're a big boy? You want to talk?"

Gudmundsson confronted the Belgian, causing concern among the players. He questioned, "What have I moaned about? " Jack Cork intervened to defuse the situation as Kompany retorted sharply: "Body language is f***ing s*** and I'm not accepting it. F***ing hell, man. It's f***ing life or death! Play!"

Gudmundsson was then escorted away by teammate Josh Brownhill while an irate Kompany refocused on the training session. Gudmundsson, who has been relegated to the Championship with Burnley, is set for his ninth season at Turf Moor.

The seasoned Icelander has clocked up over 200 appearances for the Clarets after his transfer from Charlton Athletic in 2016. Under the guidance of new boss Scott Parker, Burnley kicks off their campaign in the second tier against Luton Town tonight (Monday).

Kompany is gearing up his Bayern squad for the upcoming Bundesliga season. The stakes are high in Bavaria, where he faces immense pressure to reclaim the top spot after Bayern missed out on the league title to Bayer Leverkusen in the 2023/24 season.
