YouTube sensation MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has been backed by his girlfriend amidst a storm of serious allegations that he featured an alleged pedophile in his videos and deceived viewers with "illegal lotteries".

The internet celebrity is under fire for using racist language , purportedly collaborating with a registered sex offender, conducting "illegal lotteries", and allegedly mistreating participants during the production of his latest reality series, Beast Games.

The controversy intensified after Ava Kris Tyson, a previous associate of MrBeast, faced accusations of grooming a minor.

Despite calls from fans for Thea Booysen to leave MrBeast, she has stood by him, challenging some of the claims made against him.

Addressing a comment on her YouTube channel, where a viewer urged her to distance herself from MrBeast, Thea stated: "I appreciate the message. There is so much that is not being said, I wish I could talk more about the situation. Half the things that are said are not true, I wouldn't be with him if they were."

She added: "It is so important to me to be a good person. Hopefully, things will be fixed soon, but for now I'm focusing on my studies and trying to stay away from everything."

Grateful for her reply, the fan expressed they didn't mean to cause any distress, to which Thea responded: "Thanks man, I really appreciate it. Currently doing my thesis for my Masters and focus on the studies!"

Thea has shown backing for MrBeast, who earlier made a public apology for using "inappropriate language" found in past videos. Footage emerged of him using racial insults on a livestream after reading comments from viewers.

In defence, MrBeast's representative told The Mirror US: "When Jimmy was a teenager he acted like many kids and used inappropriate language while trying to be funny. Over the years he has repeatedly apologized and has learned that increasing influence comes with increased responsibility to be more aware and more sensitive to the power of language."

Furthermore, they explained that MrBeast corrected his audience during the live stream, insisting they abandon swearing and offensive discussions. "No more. No. No boys. No more typing the N-word in chat. No more cursing or alcohol or drugs, weed, no nothing," he stated during the broadcast.

The representative also remarked: "After making some bad jokes and other mistakes when he was younger, as an adult he has focused on engaging with the MrBeast community to work together on making a positive impact around the world."
