Gypsy Rose Blanchard has held a gender reveal party for her upcoming baby .

The former convict is expecting her first child with her former fiance Ken Urker. Over the weekend, the pair announced their baby's sex by bursting confetti-filled balloons at their gender reveal bash.

In a video shared on Gypsy's Instagram, they burst the balloons to unveil pink confetti, indicating that the baby is a girl. The caption of the video expressed the couple's immense joy at welcoming their new family member.

"The moment y'all have been waiting for... It's a girl! Ken and I are over the moon and are so excited to start our family. We're so thankful for our friends, neighbours, and families who came to our party today! We also want to thank ya'll for your love and support!" Gypsy - who celebrated her release with a huge tattoo - penned in her caption.

However, Gypsy's husband Ryan Anderson didn't seem as thrilled . On the same day as her party, Ryan revealed on a TikTok livestream that he had to undergo a DNA test to confirm he was not the baby's father.

Gypsy and Ryan tied the knot in 2022 while Gypsy was serving time for the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. A few months after Gypsy was released on parole in December 2023, the couple decided to part ways last April.

The 33-year-old reignited the spark with her former flame, Ken, whom she met during her time behind bars. They shared the news of their pregnancy back in July.

Ryan hasn't held back on TikTok about his emotions, and in a recent livestream over the weekend, he confessed to his followers: "I have to get a DNA test. I don't have a choice."

He added with frustration, "I hate being in this situation," and elaborated, "The way the timeline matches up - I don't think it's mine, but I don't know. The DNA test is going to prove it. Crazier things have happened. I just don't know. I have my thoughts and I have my opinions."

Despite Gypsy's firm stance that Ken is the father of her child, Ryan could still end up on the birth certificate due to Louisiana law, as they remain legally wed until Gypsy gives birth, preventing their divorce from finalising.
