The analysis, which hit Instagram on August 1, spotlighted an image of the 'Apple' singer back when she was about 21 years old in 2013. Bailey suspects that Charli may have opted for Botox, lip fillers, eyebrow lifting, and possibly rhinoplasty to achieve her current appearance.
Molly Bailey elaborated on her theory saying: "What seems to be the most noticeable change is her lifted brows and extra upper eyelid space. Likely the result of an endoscopic ponytail lift that's popular among young Hollywood, an upper blepharoplasty or the less invasive brow threads plus a 'tox brow lift - it gives her the cat-eye effect that's so Julia."
She also wrote in the video's caption: "Beyond that, her surgical work appears limited overall, with a possible rhinoplasty early in life (pre-rhino not pictured). The brat aesthetic wouldn't be complete without a little lip filler for shape and hydration."
The post quickly caught the attention of Charli's growing fanbase and even reached the singer herself. She chose to respond to the rumors and light-heartedly commented on the post, "Omg I'm obsessed with this."
About 10 days after the original post was made, Bailey formally recognised Charli's response, posting another photo with the caption: "The brat queen has spoken," followed by a high-five emoji. She added that Charli is "leading by example" with her look, claiming that embracing the aesthetic "makes you happy and confident and not caring what anyone else thinks".
This isn't Charli's first time poking fun at the rumors about cosmetic surgery. She previously joked about Botox during a TikTok video she shared in January 2023, where she mentioned her desire for more music awards and quipped she'd "need more Botox before accepting any awards though".
Charli's latest album Brat is taking the world by storm, charting globally and featuring collaborations with stars like Lorde and Billie Eilish, who teamed up for Guess, earning widespread praise for their joint effort.
