Love Island star's Los Angeles home raided as thieves 'steal $1.2m in six minutes'

A Love Island star's Los Angeles home has been raided , with thieves reportedly stealing $1.2m in six minutes. Davide Sanclimenti, who won the UK series in 2022 with ex-girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, says his US home was burgled .

The reality TV star, who originally hails from Rome, Italy, told his Instagram followers that his home in Los Angeles , California had been ransacked, and that expensive items had been taken "within six minutes," reports BBC.

Sanclimenti then posted two photos of empty shelves in his closet, telling fans: "I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has displayed their concern and DMing me and asking why I have been quiet over socials.

"As you all know I'm living in LA atm [at the moment]. Our home got broken into and was robbed of nearly $1.2m worth of precious and personal belongings gone within 6 minutes ...

"Just goes to show the saying is true, ‘ the evil always target the pure-hearted ’ but I'm trying to stay positive that the good people will always win in the end!"

Sanclimenti also said he would " take a few days to reset, change house and keep moving forward ". Sanclimenti's LinkedIn profile states the TV personality is an " entrepreneur with a background in finance and asset management".

The well-known face also claims to have been a " sportsman and fitness athlete for over 20 years " and that he is " deeply involved in the real estate and cryptocurrency world" but is "always open to new business opportunities".

It remains unclear whether LA Police Department is investigating the incident. Sanclimenti and his former partner Ekin-Su, who appeared on Season 2 of The Traitors US , broke up for the second time in January.
