Last chance to watch Liam Neeson thriller leaving streaming soon - and it’s not Taken

Movie fans have their last chance to watch a highly-rated Liam Neeson thriller which is set to leave streaming soon . The film has been dubbed the actor's best action flick since Taken , the film that catapulted him into the genre.

The Grey, which Max members can stream for free for only a few days more , scored massively with critics when it was released in 2011.

Since then, it has remained a favorite among Liam Neeson fans and currently has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 80 percent.

The film stars Neeson as an oil rig worker whose plane crashes in the Alaskan wilderness. He and his colleagues must fight to survive the brutal conditions as they are attacked by relentless wolves.

Both audiences and critics had overwhelmingly positive things to say about The Grey and Liam Neesons performance in particular. "A cut above the usual survival film as it adds a layer of philosophy, and even a subtle spiritual aspect," said one viewer.

Another wrote: "A tremendous movie. Liam Neeson’s acting is brilliant. Not sure how anyone can say this is not a good movie. Story, cinematography, acting are fantastic."

A third commented: "The concept of surviving a plane crash in the middle of nowhere isn't novel; rather, it's the movie's unique approach to this concept. It doesn't conclude with a happy ending nor provide closure. It's a survival horror drama thriller that prompts us to contemplate whether we'd ever be lucky enough to survive such a situation."

The Grey is among Liam Neeson's best-rated action flicks that have been released since it became his staple genre. Since 2008's Taken, Neeson has starred in a slew of well-reviewed action movies including Non-Stop, The A-Team, The Commuter, and Cold Pursuit.
