Amanda Balionis' legs shook during Tiger Woods interview she lost sleep over

CBS reporter Amanda Balionis was left shaking during an interview with Golfer Tiger Woods, as she described the moment as the most nerve-wracking of her career.

Balionis has become a familiar face during the PGA Tour but recently announced that she will be moving on to a different sport in the golf offseason. She made the announcement in an emotional Instagram post.

In the Instagram montage, she included a snap of an interview with golf legend, Tiger Woods. Though Balionis looked cool and composed, she previously opened up to Links Magazine about how nervous she was to speak to the biggest name in golf.

Balionis recounted: "When I started with PGATour.com, I think Tiger was my second ever sit-down interview. I’m very thankful the camera angle was from the waist up; my legs were shaking uncontrollably from nervousness. I lost a lot of sleep before that interview."

Also featuring in the montage was Irish golf star Rory McIlroy , who Balionis found herself romantically linked to in the media this spring. Fans were convinced the duo had undeniable chemistry, which only accelerated rumors when McIlroy announced his split from wife Erica Stoll.

Speaking on her favorite interviews, Balionis told Links Magazine: "The Dustin Johnson interview after he won the 2020 Masters, when he got vulnerable with us. Presiding over the trophy presentation after Phil Mickelson won the 2021 PGA Championship was unbelievable; understanding the historic element and witnessing the crowds ushering him up to the 72nd green. That’s an image I’ll never forget."
