Meghan Markle's followers have exploded on social media after spotting Prince Harry momentarily laying his arm on the back of a translator's chair beside him . The Sussexes were at the Zapata National Centre for the Arts in Bogota taking in a tribal dance performance .

Subsequently, during a conversation with an interpreter, Harry leaned his arm on the back of her chair.

On platform X, one user remarked: "Sitting very close to the translator and with his arm around her chair! Oh dear, Harry will be in for it when he gets home!" A Meghan admirer commented: "I'm sure Harry got the wrath of Meghan about this! " Another posted: "This is the strangest photo I have ever seen of these two."

A different person noted: "The translator is not doing anything wrong and appears to be acting with professionalism and decorum." Someone else indicated: "Their interpreter's demeanor seemed very professional and friendly."

During their visit to the Latin American nation, which aimed to shed light on the troublesome issues of bullying and misinformation online, Harry expressed concern in his address: "What happens online within a matter of minutes transfers to the streets. People are acting on information that isn't true."

He added: "It comes down to all of us to be able to spot the true from the fake. In an ideal world, those with positions of influence would take more responsibility. We are no longer debating facts."

"For as long as people are allowed to spread lies, abuse, harass, then social cohesion as we know it has completely broken down."

The recent visit of Harry and Meghan stirred up controversy. Locals in Colombia criticized the Sussexes' tour, accusing them of aiding Bogota's troubled government to divert attention from ongoing corruption scandals and other problems.

A Colombian lawyer expressed to the Mail on Sunday: "I'm sure Meghan and Harry mean well, but everyone here is talking about how obviously they are being manipulated."

"Of course, their star power will be used to bring attention to poor people and certain areas of culture in Colombia... but the reality is the Colombian government has been drowning in scandal since it came in two years ago. They need something to appease people at home and make them look good abroad."
