With just nine days remaining in the summer transfer window, Manchester United are anticipated to be one of the busiest Premier League teams.

The Red Devils have already welcomed four new signings this summer, following a reshuffle in their recruitment team. The focus for the final days of the window is expected to be on player departures .

However, there could still be some new faces , with United's interest in Manuel Ugarte still alive. They've been in discussions with PSG throughout the summer, and there's still hope that a deal can be struck .

The transfer window will close at 11pm on 30 August, leaving ample time for more deals to be made. Here, we round up all the latest Manchester United transfer news.

Manuel Ugarte remains a top target for United as the summer window draws to a close. Manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly a big fan of the midfielder and is keen to bring in a new No.

    6 to strengthen his squad.

Negotiations with PSG seemed to have hit a roadblock, but according to The Athletic, Ugarte is still being considered by United. There's optimism on both sides that a deal can be reached before next Friday's deadline.

However, there are concerns about reaching an agreement for Ugarte before the window closes. While United do have other targets in mind, they seem determined to revive a deal for the Uruguayan.

Burnley have set their sights on United academy graduate Hannibal Mejbri. The Tunisian international, who has a year left on his Old Trafford contract, had a challenging loan stint at Sevilla last season.

The Athletic reports that Burnley are now keen on the midfielder, especially with Sander Berge heading to Fulham. Both a loan and a permanent transfer are being considered at this point.

The 21-year-old previously shone in the Championship for Birmingham, netting one goal and providing five assists during the 2022/2023 season. His Sevilla deal included a £17million buy option, but United's current valuation is unclear.

PSV Eindhoven have called off their pursuit of United's Tyrell Malacia. The fullback was sidelined all of last season due to injury, but he's back in training, although an exact return date is still unknown.

With United bolstering their defence this summer, Malacia was seen as a potential target for Eredivisie champions PSV. However, Soccer News Netherlands reports that they've now withdrawn from the race for the 25-year-old.

Concerns about Malacia's fitness are cited as the main reason for PSV's change of heart. The Dutch team will now focus on other targets, while Malacia concentrates on getting back on the pitch.
