Liam Neeson's sister, Rosaleen , is making a name for herself in the acting world , stepping out of her famous brother's shadow.

While Liam Neeson is one of Northern Ireland's most celebrated actors, his sister Rosaleen is proving she's got talent too. She recently made an appearance in an episode of the popular police drama Blue Lights.

Blue Lights, filmed and set in Northern Ireland , has become one of the most buzzed-about TV series this year, with the BBC commissioning two more seasons due to its success.

In the fourth episode of Blue Lights 2, titled 'Where I Want to Be', viewers can spot Rosaleen as an extra at a bus stop during a scene where characters Sandra and Aisiling arrest Kieth Wylie after a nightclub altercation.

Rosaleen's character keeps to herself until Wylie makes a racist comment towards Andi Osho's character Sandra during his arrest. After Sandra retorts with "Now you can spend the next 10 years in prison thinking exactly about who kicked your arse", Rosaleen's character adds: "Now, see? That's what you get for being a racist!"

Despite having a minor role in the episode, Rosaleen managed to steal the scene, showing that acting talent clearly runs in the Neeson family.

Hailing from Ballymena, Liam is the only son of the late Kitty and Barney Neeson and has two other sisters in addition to Rosaleen - Elizabeth and Bernadette.
