A Liam Neeson movie has a number of fans in hysterics, though not everyone agrees. A Million Ways to Die in the West is a 2014 comedy film directed by and starring Seth MacFarlane.

Set in 1882 on the American frontier, it satires the classic Western with crude humor.

The plot follows Albert Stark (MacFarlane), a cowardly sheep farmer living in the small town of Old Stump.

Liam Neeson plays the role of Clinch Leatherwood, the most feared outlaw in the West.

Rotten Tomato viewers had mixed reviews, and the movie only scored only 33 percent overall.

One wrote: "Hilarious with a good pace, consistent laughs and awesome cameos."

"I thought it was hilarious and had humor similar to Airplane," another wrote.

One wrote: "10 years ago it brought me many laughs. I think everyone should watch Blazing Saddles prior to this. And then you might get it. It was many laughs needed, again in 2024."

"I like this movie. Not sure why it gets such harsh reviews. The music is great. The cinematography is great. Some of the comedy is hilarious. This will be a cult comedy in 20 years," one reviewer wrote, while another said: "Comedy gold, dark humour, good cast. All I can ask is it gets me laugh and I was belly laughing."

But not everyone was a fan. One wrote: "The first minutes with Seth MacFarlane telling bad jokes, acting worse than ever, are the warning of an extremely boring film that, despite the good cast, fails to improve."

"Man, this was terrible. I’m sure if you’re a fan of Seth Macfarlane, you might enjoy," another wrote.

One simply called it: "Insufferable. Vulgar."
