Meghan Markle has been warned to dodge the political fray , with a Royal commentator advising she'd be "eaten alive" if she ventured into that arena .

The Duchess of Sussex, fresh from a controversial four-day Colombia trip with Prince Harry , is often whispered to harbor political ambitions.

However, speaking on The Sun's Royal Exclusive Show, pundit Robert Jobson reckons politics isn't Meghan's game.

Imagining her political foray as a 43-year-old, he mentioned: "I think if she got involved in American politics with the title of the Duchess of Sussex she would be eaten alive. She might think she's got what it takes to make it but the Democrats would run a mile."

Asserting Meghan lacks the chops for the cutthroat political world, he further remarked: "I just think it's a dirty game and if she thinks she's been badly treated by the British press, it will be an awful lot worse if you enter the world of politics in America."

Despite swirling speculation, word has it that Meghan, erstwhile actress, is steering clear of a political course. Her reps confirm that Meghan harbors "no interest" in the political scene or aspirations towards such pursuits.

While critiquing Meghan and Harry collectively, especially relating to their recent Colombian jaunt, Mr. Jobson suggested their image doesn't quite read 'sincere'.

Speaking about their recent trip, which they undertook without their children, he commented: "Just do things that are authentic, and just do things that are real rather than staged with loads of outfit changes. I think they need to work out what they want to do. They don't come across as particularly authentic."

The expert further added: "I think they could just do some real work in America maybe and people will start to believe you."
