If you're searching for something to watch this week then Colin Farrell may just have the Netflix movie for you.
The Gentlemen has rave reviews from viewers seeking a little on-screen action as it sees Colin star alongside fellow big-name Hollywood stars including Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Hugh Grant and Henry Golding in the two-hour crime thriller . The flick follows the story of an American drug lord in England who is looking to sell his business, setting off a chain of blackmail and schemes to undermine him.
The movie was originally released in cinemas in 2019 and comes from film-making legend Guy Ritchie. Viewers of the offering took to Rotten Tomatoes to share their opinion with the film getting an impressive 84% rating from audiences .
One wrote: "Up there with some of my favourite films - a really authentic take on your drug baron/gangster' style films that Ritchie is known for. Great casting and Hugh Grant is incredible throughout."
A second said: "From the opening credits to the end this movie has your attention and manages to hod it throughout the movies entirety. The ensemble cast of actors and actresses were great and I really like the characters Hugh Grant and Collin Farrell play. The movie was interesting, the comedy was on point, and the story was written out well. Everybody playing one another but Mickey manages to stay on top using his wits, smarts, and charm. Amazing flick, I recommend it."
