A new study has identified the best places to go in Ireland for a countryside getaway . Many tourists flock to bustling places like Dublin and Belfast when visiting the Emerald Isle.

A new study by Betway revealed which places are the best to go for such a trip. The study was conducted by measuring popularity by a unique index score, generated by the number of hashtags each location has racked up on Instagram, as well as Google and Tripadvisor reviews.

The lower the overall index score, the higher the ranking. Adare Manor in Co Limerick took the top spot on the list.

This award-winning destination is nestled within 840 acres of idyllic parkland and has stylish interiors, a top-rated spa, and even a Michelin-star restaurant. There are a range of accommodation options to choose from at Adare Manor such as the Dunraven Suites.

Located in the Manor House, these suites were once the private apartments of the Earls of Dunraven. Adare Manor beat out some tough competition to take the top spot.

At number two on the list, there's Newpark Hotel in Co Kilkenny. That is followed by Cliff at Lyons in Co Kildare .
