Creepy Barry Keoghan movie fans say 'kept me glued to my screen' is on Netflix now

One Barry Keoghan film creeped out people who have watched it and it's not Saltburn . Keoghan's performance in Saltburn is now perhaps his most famous.

Fans praised his eerie depiction of the mentally disturbed villain. However, Keoghan gave a similar performance years earlier.

And he starred in the film with some big Hollywood hitters, including fellow Irish star Colin Farrell . The Killing of Sacred Deer stars the two Irish men alongside Nicole Kidman and is a super creepy horror/thriller.

The film stars Colin Farrell as Steven Murphy, a surgeon, who takes an awkward teenage boy, Martin (Keoghan), under his wing. However, things get worse for the Murphys when they find out that Martin has a sinister agenda of his own.

It was originally released in 2017 and received mixed reviews from critics and audience members. Currently, it has an audience score of 79 percent.

One happy viewer said of the flick: "Great acting, interesting premise. Tries a little too hard to be artsy and metaphorical at times but kept me glued to screen, unlike many other artsy movies."

Another wrote: "I thought this movie was brilliantly put together. It is based on Greek mythology, so the story is not supposed to make sense logically. There is no natural explanation in myth. The viewer must decipher & interpret symbols & hidden messages to create their own understanding of the meaning of the story. I really enjoyed reading all the different interpretations."

A third wrote: "This anxiety-inducing psychological thriller is unsettling every step of the way. You won’t be able to look away even as you are horrified by what you experience."

However, not everyone was impressed. One disappointed viewer said: "If I could give this zero stars, I would. This movie was utter trash and 2 hours I'll never get back. The dialogue and acting were both flat. There were so many plot holes that I lost count. Don't waste your time on this one."

Another argued: "One of the worst movie of all time. Acting were pretty bad. Sound like they were reading off script mins before taping. Plot made zero sense. Biggest waste of time. Director, writers and producers should never work in Hollywood again."
