Amanda Balionis shares sweet picture with US Olympics hero

Amanda Balionis has shared a snap alongside a Team USA Olympics hero on her Instagram page. The CBS reporter attended an event run by the Eat, Learn, Play foundation, and she shared some BTS content from the event.

The foundation is a nonprofit organization set up by Olympic champion Stephen Curry and his wife , Ayesha. Steph Curry posed for a picture with Balionis at the charity golf tournament.

The cute picture shows Balionis trying on Curry’s gold medal , hanging it around her neck and holding it up for the camera.

The shot was captured by Workday Sports, who added the caption, “Everyone wants in on the gold medal.”

Curry shared some additional snaps of the day on his account, with the caption: “What an incredible day at the fifth annual Workday Charity Classic, benefitting @earlearnplay.”

Curry secured his first Olympic medal this year, and won gold as part of the US men’s national basketball team. Other highlights of his sporting career include being a two-time NBA scoring champion, a ten-time NBA All-Star, a ten-time All-NBA selection, and he has won two gold medals at the FIBA World Cup.

Amanda Balionis is taking a hiatus from her role as CBS sports reporter for the PGA Tour as the golf season comes to an end. She will take on a new position as an NFL sideline reporter for the upcoming season.
